The European Social Forum, 2nd Edition - “Quality Jobs for the Youth”The Economic and Social Training Institute (IFES) organizes, together with the European Centre for Workers‘ Questions, the second edition of the European Social Forum - “Quality Jobs for the Youth”, which will be held at the Casino Urban Culture Centre in Cluj-Napoca on October 1-3, 2015.
The event, co-funded by the European Commission, will analyse particularly the position of youth on the European Union labour market. During this event, varied topics will be addressed, such as: the “Warranty for the Youth” programme, youth and labour automation, the fight against precarious work.
The European Social Forum “Quality Jobs for the Youth” offers a platform for communication and experience exchange in workshops organized to improve the support for youth employment in the EU by presenting country reports and examples of good practices. It also contributes to conducting an analysis on national contexts and the European context in terms of employment policies for the young workforce.
