A topical issue in the European labour market

Under the slogan "More and better jobs", on 12 -14 March 2010, took place in the Estonian capital, Tallinn, an international seminar dedicated to telework. The seminar was organized by our partners in the EZA network (www.eza.org), Estonian Centre for Workers’ Problems (ETOK). It was the last event in a larger project that aimed at comparatively analyzing the way in which the EU legislation is transposed at national levels. The seminar participants presented country-specific reports, exposures and views referring to Holland, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Romania and Estonia. IFES representatives brought their contribution, having a presentation of the current telework status in Romania and one study on the health and safety issues in this specific working arrangement.
