IFES – partner within the transnational project ENABLE

On 18-19 November 2009, IFES attended the first transnational working meeting within the project ENABLE (Enabling Labor Market Entry and Mobility by Engaging Learners through Innovation), which took place at Sheffield. With a total budget of EUR 399,057, the project – co-financed by a Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning program – focuses on vulnerable groups in order to help them participate and get integrated on the labor market. Thus, the target groups are: young people without qualifications, single mothers, and elderly workers. The project’s goal is to develop instruments capable of attracting these target groups in lifelong learning and skill developing programs. In the development of these instruments, the starting point will be represented by the potential interests of the people making up the target groups.

The project team is made up by the following organizations: Learning Light Ltd. (UK) – applicant, MRS Consultancy Ltd. (UK), Asset Technology Ltd. (Greece), Fondazione Luigi Clerici (Italy), Miasteczko Multimedia (Poland), IFES (Romania) and The Workshop (UK).
