ENABLE - project meeting in Athens

On 7th and 8th of October 2010, the third partnership meeting for the ENABLE project - „Enabling Labour Market Entry and Mobility by Engaging Learners through Innovation” was held in Athens. The project is implemented under Leonardo da Vinci, Transfer of Innovation by organisations from Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Poland and Romania. ENABLE aims to hook unemployed women into developing their digital competencies, in order to facilitate their access on the labour market. For this purpose, the partnership will develop adapted software components and will provide women with the support needed in the learning process.

The main aim of the meeting in Athens was for the partnership to establish the form and content of the software designed for attracting women into learning and for those aiming at further develop their digital skills. For this purpose, the partnership revised the research results and has analysed and discussed the software proposals.

The next project meeting is planed for the middle January 2011. By then the software will be ready to use and each partner will establish the methodology for implementing the project in its country.
