QUALENSOR - lifelong learning a new international project

Between 4 and 5 November 2010, held the first meeting of QUALENSOR transnational project, "Organisation of adult education: focus on quality, environment and social responsibility".. It took place in Vila Praia de Ancora and Caminha (North Potugal). This is a new two years Grundtvig Partnership project with the participation of IFES as a partner. The partners, organisation beeing involved in life long learning, are comming from Spain, France, Italy and Portugal

The main goal of this project is the management of the adult education with a focus on quality training management, environment and social responsibility of training providers.

Within the project, through the contribution of partners, is planned to issue an e-book, containing, on the one hand, guidelines for active and individualized approaches to adult education and on the other hand, an Handbook for Quality, Environment and Social responsibility. Both are tools that can be used by those responsible for management of adult education.

The specific objectives of the partnership will be:

1) The design, implementation and validation of the Handbook for Quality, Environmental and Social Responsibility;

2) Completion of the above mentioned Handbook for Quality, Environmental and Social Responsibility with a guide of good practices on adult education to include new methods, both in the process of education (in particular the teaching of individualized) and recognition of skills acquired during life;

3) Make a E-Book to integrate all the information quality, environmental and social responsibility as well as continued training methods, and validation of e-books in a seminar where experts to participate both as representatives of social partners;

4) Dissemination of the best practices resulting from the implementation of the handbook and training specific methodologies embedded in e-book among the social partners, vocational schools, training centers and cultural associations for the elderly, etc..

Once achieved these objectives, the organizations involved and the beneficiaries of Lifelong Learning will provide useful and new management techniques and methodologies.
